Fabric Recommendations

Pick out your favourite Fabricland cotton.

Prewash fabric before cutting.

Step 1 A Step 1 B

Step 1: Lay cuff right side up.

Iron the band in half (length wise) and then lay the band at the top edge of the cuff.

Place the body of the pillowcase (right side down) matching up all the top edges. Pin together.

Roll the body up from the bottom until it is totally within the cuff but not right to the top.

Bring the bottom of the cuff up to match all edges, enclosing hot dog. Now the hot dog (body) is in the bun.

Step 2 A Step 2 B

Step 2: Pin all layers together ensuring that the hot dog roll is not caught up in the pins.

Sew all edges together.

Step 3: Grasp the hot dog from inside the bun and pull it out of the bun until all, including the bun (cuff), is right side out. Turn inside out (right sides together). Finish up by serging a ½” seam allowance leaving no visible raw edges. French seams are also an option.

Turn right side out and press with iron.
