How to Cut Faux Fur with Less Mess:

• Draw where you would like to cut on the wrong side of your fabric.
• Take your scissors and slowly cut just the backing of the faux fur. Keep scissors close to the backing and snip below the fur pile.
• This creates less mess and avoids a choppy look. Pull off fluff from the edges as you go.

*NOTE: For long pile faux fur, the same cutting technique can be used.
