We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Communications Specialist for a 2-year assignment to
drive marketing initiatives and coordinate the efforts of our Marketing Communications team. The ideal
candidate will be a marketing communications professional with a background in advertising, graphic design,
social media, and website management.
$63,000–$70,000 a year - Fixed term contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Planning and Execution: Take charge of planning and executing 2-3 flyers and 15 sales
campaigns monthly, ensuring accuracy, creativity, and timely delivery.
- Creative Direction: Lead film, content, and photo shoots, ensuring the successful execution of
creative concepts. Provide guidance in graphic design, photography, video production, copywriting, and
website development. Maintain the visual identity and consistent messaging, adapting as necessary for
local requirements.
- Integrated Campaign Development: Develop integrated marketing campaigns across traditional and
emerging media channels such as print, video, digital, and social media, ensuring a cohesive brand
message.
- Online Presence: Manage the company's online presence, including social media platforms
(Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest), website content, and digital advertising. Create
compelling and relevant content that resonates with the target audience.
- Craft Instructional Content: Plan and create engaging craft instructional content for social and
digital platforms to enhance customer engagement and brand loyalty.
- Paid Advertising: Manage Google and social media paid ad campaigns, optimizing strategies to
maximize ROI and enhance brand visibility.
- Website Strategy: Plan and execute corporate content and strategy for the website, curating
content based on UX principles and customer relevance.
- Visual Identity: Maintain the visual identity and ensure a consistent brand message, tailoring
adaptations for local needs and market nuances.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate a team of approximately 10 professionals across various departments
and regions, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Professional Experience:
- 3 years of experience in marketing and advertising.
- 3 years of social media management and content creation expertise.
- 3 years of experience in graphic design, photography or video production.
- Design original patterns, prints and graphics for merchandising and products
- 1 years of experience in retail marketing, shopper marketing or account management (preferred).
Qualifications & Skills:
- Post-secondary studies in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design.
- Knowledge of sewing, fashion fabrics and crafts strongly preferred.
- Strong creative direction skills, including graphic design, photography, video production, and
copywriting.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and excellent project and time management abilities.
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) required.
- Knowledge Adobe Premiere preferred.
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
