Moove over! This Tic-Tac-Cow pattern will be your newest obsession.
3 x different 100% cotton fabrics, with the suggested
combination of colours and prints below. If using
fabric off a bolt you will need:
(A) Darker colour fabric, preferably a feature piece -
choose section/design that you want to feature before
cutting the fabric off bolt - 15cm strip*.
(B) Lighter colour fabric, preferably a feature piece -
choose section/design that you want to feature before
cutting the fabric off bolt - 15cm strip*.
(C) Medium/Neutral colour fabric, preferably a blender
- 10cm strip.
*If fussy-cutting: ensure there is enough fabric to get five (5) squares of the design
you like to feature.

Fabric (A) Cut five squares of 3 3/4” x 3 3/4”.
Fabric (B) Cut four squares of 3 3/4” x 3 3/4”.
Fabric (C) Cut two rectangles of 1 ⅝” x 12 1/2” + 6 rectangles of 1 ⅝” x 3 3/4”.
Lay your pieces into the formation shown below:
Sew the pieces of each column together using a ¼” seam allowance.
Each finished column should end up measuring 12 ½” x 3 ¾”.
Add the remaining two fabric (C) rectangles between the columns as shown below, sewing the first fabric (C) strip to Column 1, and sew the second fabric (C) strip to Column 2.
Add Column 1 to Column 2 and then add Column 3.
Press and trim if necessary.
The finished block should measure 12 ½” x 12 ½”./p>
