Let’s tie dye a t-shirt using Rit® Dye!
What You Need:
What You Do:
- All you have to do is mix a cup of hot water with a tablespoon of liquid dye and you’re
ready to go.
- Make sure to prewash the shirt, or whatever you’re dying, and grab your PPE so you don’t end
up with stains everywhere.
- For that classic tie dye look, lay out your damp shirt and start pinching and swirling the
centre.
- Secure with elastic bands, and carefully pour your dyes into the different sections. Make
sure you get the front and the back.
- With Rit® Dye you only need to let the shirt to rest for 30 minutes, then go ahead and rinse
out any excess dye.
- After you give it a quick wash and a dry, you’re ready to wear your shirt!
