Triangle Fabric Banner


Dress up any occasion with a custom banner!


What You Need:

  • Craft Cotton or Outdoor Fabric*
  • Interfacing*
  • Assorted Trim or Ribbon*
  • Triangle Banner Template, free download available

*Note: The amount of fabric, interfacing and trim/ribbon will depend on how long you make your banner.


What You Do:

  • Cut out your triangle pattern from the template provided.
  • Select the fabric you'd like to use for your banner, and trace the triangle shape on the back of your fabric pieces. Trace and cut out enough interfacing for each banner triangle.
  • Place your fabric pieces right sides together with the interfacing piece as the bottom layer.
  • Sew around the edge, leaving an opening at the top of each of your banner triangles.
  • Turn your banner triangles right side out, fold in the edges of the opening, and sew closed.
  • Attach your banner triangles to a length of ribbon or trim in order to hang your completed banner.

Optional: Decorate the tops of your banner triangles with trim or ribbon of your choice.
