What You Need:

What You Do:

  • Grab a sturdy chunky yarn, such as our Tailor Yarns Pastel Puff Yarn, and chain six on a 15mm hook.
  • Make a slip knot to connect the ends of the chain, and chain two more.
  • Now, double crochet 11 times into the circle, making sure to incorporate the tail.
  • Make a slip knot to connect the ends of the circle. Chain twice and double crochet two times into each stitch, for a total of 24 stitches.
  • The concept is that each row you’re adding 12 stitches to accommodate the size of the circle.
  • Once you connect the ends of the second row, chain two to start the third.
  • In this row, you’ll be alternating two double crochets in one stitch, and then one double crochet in the next stitch, for a total of 36 stitches.
  • After you connect the ends of the third row, single crochet around the border three times to build the sides of the bowl.
  • Tie off, flip the bowl inside out, and it's ready to use!
